shall用于第一人稱,常被will 所代替。

will 在陳述句中用于各人稱,在爭(zhēng)求意見(jiàn)時(shí)常用于第二人稱。

be going to +不定式,表示將來(lái)。

a. 主語(yǔ)的意圖,即將做某事。

注意:be about to 不能與tomorrow, next week 等表示明確將來(lái)時(shí)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)連用。

Step2. 一般將來(lái)時(shí)表達(dá)的意義就是:主語(yǔ)將要發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或者存在的狀態(tài)。一般將來(lái)時(shí)的基本知識(shí):

一般將來(lái)時(shí)的構(gòu)成形式很多,舉兩個(gè)例子:

Jenny will have a birthday party tonight. 今晚詹妮將舉行生日晚會(huì)。

I will do my homework in the evening. 我將在晚上做作業(yè)。

接下來(lái)談"will +動(dòng)詞原形"構(gòu)成一般將來(lái)時(shí)的句型變化:變否定句時(shí)在will 的后面直接加not;變一般疑問(wèn)句時(shí)直接把will提前;肯定和否定答語(yǔ)分別是:Yes, 主語(yǔ) +will;No, 主語(yǔ) +will not(=wont)。如:

Bob will go shopping with his mum in the afternoon.

→Bob will not(=wont) go shopping with his mum in the afternoon.

→Will Bob go shopping with his mum in the afternoon?

Yes, he will. / No, he wont.

需要指出的是:go和come這些表示位置移動(dòng)的單詞,也常用它們的現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)表達(dá)將來(lái)的意義。如:

My aunt will come to my birthday party tonight.

= My aunt is coming to my birthday party tonight.

Step3. 一般將來(lái)時(shí)的用法:

1.一般將來(lái)時(shí)主要表示將來(lái)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或情況,常與tomorrow, tonight, next week, in the future, in half an hour/two hours等狀語(yǔ)連用,也可以和when, while引導(dǎo)的狀語(yǔ)從句連用。

I will finish my homework in fifteen minutes. There is going to be an exciting film tonight. I will give him the message as soon as I arrive home. While people may refer to television for up-to-the-minute news, it is unlikely the television ____the newspaper completely.

本句是對(duì)未來(lái)情況的推測(cè),與while引導(dǎo)的狀語(yǔ)從句連用,用一般將來(lái)時(shí),所以答案為D。

2. 祈使句后用and或or連接的并列分句中,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞常用一般將來(lái)時(shí)。

新授:條件狀語(yǔ)從句

條件狀語(yǔ)從句通常由連詞if引導(dǎo),意為“如果;假如”。例如:

If you fall into the water and cant swim, they may come up to help you.

時(shí)態(tài)的運(yùn)用

在條件狀語(yǔ)從句中,主句和從句之間的時(shí)態(tài)要保持一致,具體情況如下:

1. 當(dāng)主句和從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞都是單純陳述過(guò)去的事情時(shí),主句和從句都可用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。例如:

When my father was ten years old, the World Cup was in Sweden.

2. 當(dāng)主句和從句所表達(dá)的動(dòng)作基本同時(shí)發(fā)生或表示客觀事實(shí)時(shí),主句和從句都可以用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。例如:

When they walk, Cody walks.

3. 當(dāng)主句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞是want, wish,hope等時(shí),從句通常用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。例如:

Do you want to be a policeman when you grow up?

4. 當(dāng)主句是一般將來(lái)時(shí)、一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)(包括祈使句和含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can, may, must等),上述兩種情況中狀語(yǔ)從句必須用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。例如:

What are you going to do after you leave school?

Be careful when you cross the road.

You must see the doctor if you are ill.

連接詞主要有 if, unless, as/so long as, on condition that 等。.

在時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句和條件狀語(yǔ)從句中,主句和從句之間的時(shí)態(tài)要保持一致,具體情況如下:

1. 當(dāng)主句和從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞都是單純陳述過(guò)去的事情時(shí),主句和從句都可用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。例如:

4. 當(dāng)主句是一般將來(lái)時(shí)、一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)(包括祈使句和含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can, may, must等),上述兩種情況中狀語(yǔ)從句必須用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。例如:

真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句與非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的不同

if既可引導(dǎo)一個(gè)真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句又可引導(dǎo)一個(gè)非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句,二者主要在以下三個(gè)方面有所不同:

意義及謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞形式不同

如果該條件純屬假設(shè),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用虛擬語(yǔ)氣;有可能實(shí)現(xiàn)的條件則使用動(dòng)詞通常的陳述形式:

1.非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用動(dòng)詞過(guò)去式來(lái)表示與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反或難以實(shí)現(xiàn)的愿望,主句則用“would+動(dòng)詞原形”;而真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用動(dòng)詞的一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)表示一般或未來(lái)情形下的條件,主句用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)或?qū)?lái)時(shí)。試比較:

2. 非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用“had+過(guò)去分詞”表示與過(guò)去的事實(shí)相反,主句用“would have done”;真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句用一般過(guò)去時(shí)指過(guò)去的事實(shí)或用于間接引語(yǔ)中(可表示過(guò)去將來(lái)的情況),主句用一般過(guò)去時(shí)或過(guò)去將來(lái)時(shí)。試比較:

If I had been a teacher at that time, I would have argued with him. 當(dāng)時(shí)我要是老師的話,就和他爭(zhēng)辯了。(事實(shí)上當(dāng)時(shí)不是老師)

If Mike was a liar, it was for my sake. 如果麥克曾經(jīng)是個(gè)撒謊的人,那也是為了我。(當(dāng)時(shí)麥克極有可能是撒了謊)

一般將來(lái)時(shí)

1) 由“will / shall +動(dòng)詞原形”構(gòu)成的一般將來(lái)時(shí)。系動(dòng)詞am,is,are的原形都是be。如:It will be very hot tomorrow. 明天會(huì)非常熱。shall適用于第一人稱I,we;will適用于所有人稱,通??梢杂脀ill來(lái)代替shall。

will,shall均可以縮寫為ll,如I will = Ill;she will = shell

一般將來(lái)時(shí)的否定句是在will或shall之后加上not。will not可以縮寫為wont;而shall not可以縮為成:shant。

2) 與一般將來(lái)時(shí)連用的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ),它們通常是一些表示將來(lái)時(shí)間的詞或詞組。例如:

tomorrow (明天)

before long (不久)

the day after tomorrow (后天)

next week (下周)

soon (很快)

從句所接的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的含義不同

1. if I (we, you, he...) +“ should + 動(dòng)詞原形”或“ were to +動(dòng)詞原形”或動(dòng)詞過(guò)去式,表示對(duì)將來(lái)情況的虛擬假設(shè),即某事不會(huì)或不太可能發(fā)生,具有較大的試探性。如:

If you should run into Peter, please tell him he owes me a letter. 假如你碰見(jiàn)皮特,告訴他他該給我寫信了。

What would you do if war were to break out? 如果戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)爆發(fā),你會(huì)怎么辦?

2. If引導(dǎo)的真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句一般很少使用將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài),但有時(shí)也可用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞will或would來(lái)表示“愿望”(如果……愿意……),甚至可用這種方式提出請(qǐng)求。如:

Itll make me very happy if youll accept it. 如果你愿意收下它我會(huì)很高興的。

If you will wait a moment, Ill go and tell the manager that you are here. 如果你愿意等一會(huì)兒,我就會(huì)去告訴經(jīng)理你來(lái)了。

If you will hold my bag, Ill open the door (i.e. please hold my bag). 如果你愿意替我拿包,我就開(kāi)門(即,請(qǐng)?zhí)嫖夷冒?。

與其他句型的轉(zhuǎn)換不同

1.非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句中的if可省略,從句可以用倒裝語(yǔ)序;而真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句一般不可以。如:

If he were my son, I would beat him. 如果他是我的兒子我就打他。→Were he my son, I would beat him. (√)

If you touch me again, Ill call the police. 你再碰我,我就叫警察。→Do you touch me again, Ill call the police. ()

2. 真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句可以轉(zhuǎn)換為“祈使句+and +陳述句”,而非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句則不可以。如:

If you touch me again, Ill call the police.→(You) Touch me again and Ill call the police. (√)

3. 真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的否定式可與unless ...轉(zhuǎn)換,而非真實(shí)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的否定式卻不能。如:

If it doesnt rain tomorrow, Ill plant the flowers. 如果明天不下雨,我就把花栽上。→Ill plant the flowers unless it rains tomorrow. (√)

If it hadnt been for you, I would have failed in the exam. 如果不是你的話我就不會(huì)通過(guò)考試了?!鶸nless it had been for you, I would have failed in the exam. ()
