規(guī)則

音節(jié)是英語當中最小的單位。每個音節(jié)含有一個音節(jié)核,通常由元音音素構成,輔音是音節(jié)的分界線。所以,音節(jié)就分成單音節(jié)、雙音節(jié)和多音節(jié)。

A.單音節(jié)詞

1.兩輔音之間不管有多少個元音,一般都是一個音節(jié)。如:bed,seat, beauty。

2.兩元音字母之間有一個輔音字母時,輔音字母歸后一音節(jié),如:student,labour。

3.有兩個輔音字母時,一個輔音字母歸前一音節(jié),一個歸后一音節(jié),如:letter,winter

4.不能拆分的字母組合按字母組合劃分音節(jié)。如:father,teacher。

B.雙音節(jié)詞

一般在第一個音節(jié)重讀。如:sorry, movie, cover

1.有 a-, be-, de-, re-, res-, in-, im-, en-, em-, es-, ex-, con-, com-,dis-, mis-, pre-, per-, pro-, trans- 等前綴的詞,第二個音節(jié)是重音。如: believe, decide

2.有 de-, in-, re-, con-, pre- 等前綴的重音與詞義和詞類有關, 一般名詞的重音在第一個音節(jié)上,其它的詞性在第二個音節(jié)上。如:present present

3.有些復合詞和帶有前綴 re-, ex-, un-, pre-, post-, 等的詞,有兩個重音。如:?outside, ?retell
