每年的6月5日是世界環(huán)境日，它的確反映了世界人民對(duì)環(huán)境問題的重視，表達(dá)了人類對(duì)美好環(huán)境的向往和追求。她是聯(lián)合國促進(jìn)全球環(huán)保意識(shí)，提高政府對(duì)環(huán)境問題的關(guān)注所采取的行動(dòng)。地球是人類和其他物種的共同家園，然而由于人類常常采取亂砍濫發(fā)，竭澤而漁等不良發(fā)展方式，地球上物種滅絕的速度大大加快。生物多樣性喪失正使生態(tài)系統(tǒng)滑向不可恢復(fù)的臨界點(diǎn)，如果地球生態(tài)系統(tǒng)最終發(fā)生不可挽回的惡化，人類文明所賴以生存的相對(duì)穩(wěn)定的環(huán)境條件將不復(fù)存在。
